The 4^th Annual General Meeting of Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA) was held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the Function Room of Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos.

The highlight of the meeting included an overview of the reviewed Constitution of the Association (which is still open for inputs from members), and the re-election of Mr. Tope Fashedemi to fill the vacancy on the Executive Board.

Other items on the day’s agenda were as follows:

1)      1) To receive the Annual Report and Financial Statement for the year ended: May 2011, together with the Auditor’s Report.

2)      2) To receive a Business Plan and Budget for the period of the current financial year beginning June 1, 2011.

3)      3) To consider such other business that any member properly brings before the meeting.
