Engr Nnamani, the Treasurer, Executive Board of Directors at the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA) and Chief Executive Officer at Medallion Communications Limited scooped awards at the annual Beacon of Information and Communication Technology Awards (BoICT) organised by Nigeria CommunicationsWeek, a leading Nigerian ICT newspaper in Lagos, Nigeria.

Engr. Nnamani, President of Medallion and current President of the Association of Telecommunication Companies of Nigeria (ATCON), won the "Nigeria CommunicationsWeek ICT Personality of the Year" Award at the 2020 BoICT awards due to his active contributions and relentless efforts to develop the Nigerian telecommunication industry. The Award was presented to the Medallion CEO by the President of the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA), Mr Muhammed Rudman.

Similarly, the just recent winner of the 'Most Connected Data Centre of the Decade' at the Nigeria@60 ICT Hall of Fame Awards, Medallion, won the award as the "Most Interconnected Data Centre in Nigeria" that same day at the 2020 BoICT awards.

According to the organiser, founder, and Editor-in-Chief of Nigeria CommunicationsWeek, Ken Nwogbo, "Engr Nnamani focuses on implementing the core network infrastructure that promotes, develops, and distributes local content and ensuring high-quality service is delivered to the subscribers at an affordable rate."

The Medallion CEO who dedicated both awards to the entire Medallion communications team said: "These are the rewards for hard work." He ended his appreciation note by commending his team's dedication and resilience in building an accommodating telecommunication infrastructure capable of hosting both local and international service providers in Nigeria.
