Mrs. Ibukun Odusote​

Mrs. Ibukun Odusote is the Chairperson Board of Trustees of NiRA and a pioneer member of the Board of Trustees.
She is a civil servant in IT and administration. She was the first administrative contact person for the .ng top-level Nigerian domain name. She has served as the Permanent Secretary for the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and for the Political Affairs Department in the Office of the Secretary to the Federal Government
She holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science/Economics from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife. She has an M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Lagos. She works with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Political Affairs Office).
She is a fellow, Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Member, Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria, Member, Internet Society, Member, IFIP WG9.4 on Social implications of IT to development in developing countries, Member, Nigerian Institute of Management and President, Digital Peers International.

Mrs. Mary Nma Uduma

Mrs. Mary Nma Uduma is currently the Secretary to the Board of Trustees of NiRA.

She was part of the interim Board of Trustees of the .ng Domain Names Management Task Force of the .ng ccTLD which later became Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA), representing Nigerian Communications Commission. She was one of the pioneer Executive Board of Directors of Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA) as its Vice President and thereafter became the President in 2009 after the passing of the pioneer President, Mr. Ndukwe Kalu. She retired as the President of NIRA in 2015. It was during her tenure as the President of NIRA that she envisioned the establishment of the Ndukwe Kalu Foundation (KF) which was approved by the AGM of NIRA. NKF is the CSR arm of NIRA. The .NG House was purchase by Mrs. Uduma and her Executive Board of Directors Team.
She has been:
A council member of the International Communications Union (ITU), Chaired the African Group of the Council and part of ITU Study Groups
Member of the WSIS Africa Group, participated actively WSIS 2003 and 2005 that conformed the Internet Governance Forum. She has been part of the UN Internet Governance Forum since 2006
A member of the Government Advisory Committee of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (GAC of ICANN) representing Nigeria. Member of Country Code Supporting Organization, (ccNSO) of ICANN as the president of NIRA, At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) of ICANN and AFRALO. AfTLD Excomm member. Mrs. Mary Nma Uduma is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, retired as Telecommunications Regulator from Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) where she worked for over 17 years heading various departments of the Commission, her last assignment being Director of Consumers Affairs of the NCC.
Mrs. Uduma is the Managing Director of Jaeno Digital Solutions Limited (JDSL) a company she founded in 2012.
A member of NCCT-ICT Sectoral Working Group of the Nigerian Content Development Monitoring Board om Oil and Gas Sector.
She is a Faculty Member of Digital Bridge Institute of Nigeria. An Expert at Africa E-Government Policy Development. Expert in Internet and Digital policy development and Internet Governance Issues.
She had been a Banker, Auditor, Teacher, and works with young people and women in Nigeria.
She lives in Abuja, the Capital of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Yanusa Zakari Ya’u ​

Mr. Yunusa Zakari Ya,u is a Member of the Board of Trustees of NiRA. He is the Executive Director, Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) – CITAD.

Mr Biyi Oladipo

Mr. Biyi Oladipo has a solid track record in delivering successful intervention projects across various industry segments, bringing value to organisations for almost three decades. Trained as a systems and network analyst, Biyi has developed skills in business transformation, using technology as a basis for corporate development, and has been involved in several business transformation projects over the years. He brings unique insights into problem-solving in organisations.

A holder of an MBA from the prestigious Lagos Business School of the Pan Atlantic University, Nigeria, Masters in Information Science from the Africa Regional Centre for Information Science, University of Ibadan, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree (with Distinction) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and is currently a PhD candidate at the Université Gaston Berger, St. Louis, Senegal.

He was appointed by the Country Code Name Support Organization (ccNSO) of ICANN as one of its Liaisons to the Generic Top Level Domain Name Support Organization (GNSO) of ICANN in May 2018. Currently he is the Vice Chair ICAN ccNSO.

He is on the Enterprise Development Centre of the Pan Atlantic University faculty, an adjunct faculty member at Lagos Business School and a member of the Board of Trustees at NiRA.

Ogbuefi Remmy Nweke

Ogbuefi Remmy Nweke is the Group Executive Editor of the multiple award-winning ITREALMS Media group and Lead Consulting Strategist at DigitalSENSE Africa. Currently, the Publicity Secretary, Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) and chairman, Awareness and Sensitisation Committee, Nigerian Content Consultative Forum on Information and Communications Technologies (NCCF-ICT) Sectoral Working Group.
Reliable member and former Executive Director, Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA) plus the immediate past Vice President, African Civil Society on the Information Society (ACSIS), Remmy also known in the industry as .NG Evangelist, pioneered the NIRA eNewsletter as the chairman, Publicity and served on various committees including the Establishment and Finance, Accreditation as well as promoted the institutionalizing of NIRA House and pioneered the NIRA Media College during his term on the board, among other initiatives.
At DigitalSENSE Africa, a project of ITREALMS Media group and an ICANN-certified At-Large Structure (ALS) that hosts several industry stakeholders since 2009, Remmy led the impressive Nigeria DigitalSENSE Forum series, IPv6 Roundtable, ITREALMS’ E-Waste Dialogue and Digital Rights Series of DSA as a skilled project and knowledge management professional.
Remmy, who holds MA in Contemporary Diplomacy from University of Malta has background in new media journalism with over 25 years’ experience in Nigeria and global ICT industry, crowned with several professional awards including the prestigious Highway Africa News Agency (HANA) African Journalist of the Year, Africa Siemens Profile Awards, African Information Society Awards, to name but a few.
An active member of the Multistakeholders Advisory Group (MAG) of Nigeria Internet Governance Forum (NIGF), Remmy, a former NPOC Representative to NCSG-Finance Committee at the Generic Name Supporting Organisation (GNSO), is the chairman, Communications and Advocacy at IPv6 Council Nigeria and a member with stakeholders interest across the Non-Commercial Stakeholder Group (NCSG); Non-Commercial Users Constituency (NCUC) and Not-for-Profit Operational Concerns Constituency (NPOC), AFRALO in addition as a team member of the NomCom Implementation Review Working Group (NomComIRWG), Internet Society (ISOC), AFRALO, At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC), Language Services Working Group on ICANN website document translation; Next-Generation gTLD Registration Directory Service (RDS); NPOC Policy Committee; NCSG Policy Committee; Cross Community Working Group on Enhancing ICANN Accountability [CCWG-ACCT] [Ws2-hr] HR subgroup;
As former member, NIRA and ISOC (Nigeria Chapter} Constitution Review Committees respectively, among others, Remmy pledges to in collaboration with other senior colleagues, deepen the .NG institution and adoption in the country and beyond.

Barrister Emmanuel Edet​

Barrister Emmanuel Edet is a member of the Board of Trustees of NiRA. He is the representative of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) on the Board. He works with NITDA as a Legal Adviser.
