Mr. Muhammed Rudman
Mr.Muhammed Rudman is the President, Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA), pioneer Chief Executive Officer, Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN), Nigeria’s first and only neutral IXP. A veteran IT professional with over 18 years extensive experience in network design, implementation, optimization and operations. Before joining IXPN, Rudman had worked with several organizations in technical and managerial capacity including Galaxy IT & T Limited, where he facilitated the deployment of rural telephony project (personal handy phone system), Wireless multipoint and point-to-point for broadband access, Earth Stations for Wide Area Network (WAN) using remote VSAT sites across many Nigerian states and West Africa countries.Mr.Muhammed Rudman is the President, Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA), pioneer Chief Executive Officer, Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN), Nigeria’s first and only neutral IXP. Mr.Rudman is the Chairman of the Nigeria IPv6 Council, the Council is a chapter of the global IPv6 Forum. The Council is dedicated to the advancement and promotion of IPv6 best practices and lessons learned in Nigeria. He has severally been engaged as a member of various strategic and policy-making committees across the country. Rudman is a member of the National Broadband Council; The Council tasked with the evaluation, review and monitoring of the National Broadband Plan. He is an active member of several professional organizations within and outside the country and has contributed immensely to the development of ICT sector in Nigeria. He currently serves on the Board of Nigerian Internet Registration Association (.ng  ccTLD custodians) as the President as well as the Chairman, Establishment & Finance Committee. Mr. Toba Obaniyi
Mr.Toba Obaniyi serves on the Executive Board of NiRA as the Vice President. He is the CEO of Whogohost Limited, one of the pioneer accredited NiRA registrars. Mr. Toba graduated with honours in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 2008. In 2010, he joined Whogohost as the Head of Technical Support. He was later appointed in 2012 as Chief Executive Officer and has since grown the company to become one of the foremost shared hosting providers in Nigeria. Mr.Toba completed a program with honours with Harvard Business School Online (HBX) in 2018 where he studied Business Accounting, Economics for Managers and Business Analytics. Mr.Toba is passionate about technology and has been a mentor to a number of entrepreneurs and startups.
Dr. Eugene Ohu
Dr. Eugene Ohu is a senior lecturer in the department of Organisational Behaviour/Human Resource Management of the Lagos Business School, where he teaches in the degree (MBA) and executive programmes. He has been a member of NiRA since Jan 2007 and has been on the Executive Board of NiRA since 2017, serving at various times as the chairman of the Technical Committee, and a member of other committees including the Audit Committee, the Communications Committee, as well as the Finance and Establishment Committee. Dr. Ohu is very passionate about technology. At the Lagos Business School, he researches on the psychology of human-computer interactions in the workplace, in order to promote individual wellbeing and organizational productivity. He is the director of the Virtual Human-Computer Interaction (VHCI) Lab at the school. He recently received a grant of ninety million naira (N90 million) to explore the use of VR to teach empathy and compassion in teenagers. Dr. Eugene Ohu is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Society for Industrial and Organisational Psychology (SIOP); the Academy of Management (AOM) and the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN). He is also an entrepreneurship mentor on the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) entrepreneurship programme. Eugene speaks and writes Italian and Spanish fluently, and has a fair mastery of French. He loves the outdoors.
Mr. Chukwuemeka Agbata, Jnr.
CFA is a renowned and multi-award winning tech media personality, visible in the print, broadcast and new media. He co-produces and presents Tech Trends, a weekly Tech show on Channels Television, as well as Tech on Wheels, a nationally syndicated radio show airing across multiple States in Nigeria. CFA also doubles as a Sunday Punch Columnist, where he writes the ICT Clinic column, and the Founder of CFAtech.ng, a technology blog designed to transform Africa through tech education and advocacy. He is recognised as a vibrant stakeholder and respected influencer in the ICT industry reaching out to millions of people through multiple platforms, coupled with his strong membership of several local and international organizations. He organises the monthly CFA’s Startups Hangout, designed to help startups learn and grow from the experiences of successful entrepreneurs. CFA is a Member of the Executive Board of Directors of the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA), the body responsible for managing the .NG, Nigeria’s country code Top Level Domain, (ccTLD).
Mr. Murtala Abdullahi
Mr. Murtala Abdullahi is an entrepreneur, the founder of Smart Web Nigeria Ltd and Eshal Concept Enterprises. He is presently serving as the CEO, Server Administrator and Domain Registration Supervisor at Smart Web Nigeria Ltd where he has been involved in developing and managing enterprise software solutions for varying degrees of clients. He is very passionate about technology and commands a lot of practical technical skills, ranging from Linux System Administration, DNS & IP engineering etcetera. He studied Diploma in Computer Science at University of Jos and Bsc Computer Science at the National Open University of Nigeria and obtained Professional Certification in Linux Administration and DNS from Koenig Solution Indian. Mr. Murtala Abdullahi is an entrepreneur and a social innovator whose eminence support through Smart Web Nigeria Ltd has grounded a lot of tech industries and startups across Nigeria and yielded them growth and sustainability. The recognition of his unequivocal good work in technologies has won him a lot of awards, including the biggest last African Convergence Conference Award held in Sheraton Lagos 2017.
Mr. Adesola Akinsanya
Mr. Adesola Akinsanya is a member of the Executive Board of Directors at NiRA. Executive Director, Technical and Support Services with Upperlink Limited where he heads the Engineering & Technical Support Department. He also doubles as the head of Upperlink’s Domain Registrar Service. He brings to bear several years of professional expertise, competence and experience in the Information Technology industry with a focus on cloud services. He was part of the team which aided the accreditation of Upperlink Limited as the first Nigerian company to be accredited as Global Registrar by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) in 2014 and has led the Domain team till date. He was also a member of the evaluation team which appraised the Company on Level 3 for CMMI Assessment. He has taken courses on Domain Registry and Advanced Domain Registry Operation. attended several conferences including ICANN and AFRINIC within and outside Africa. He has been involved and participated in panel discussions organized by ICANN Africa, African Union and AFTLD both as a panellist and moderator in several fora such as the Africa Domain Name System Forum, Multistakeholder Internet Governance in Africa thereby contributing to the development and adoption of African CCTLDs. Mr. Adesola Akinsanya had his first degree in Engineering and holds a Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and the University of Lagos respectively. He is a Chartered member of Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria) and a member of Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA).
Mr. Lawerence Olawale-Roberts
Mr.Lawrence Olawale-Roberts is the Managing Director & CEO of MicroBoss a premier Mid-sized technology consulting firm, aiming at becoming one of the largest and leading technology services company globally, with its headquarters in Abuja. Lawrence trained as an Electrical Electronics Engineer and has had the rare privilege of working with Government in the public sector as a Special Assistant to a Federal Commissioner in a Commission under the Presidency for close to 5years, boasting of over 18 years of progressive, broad management experience in the Non-Governmental, Public and Private sectors. Within the global Internet Governance space, Lawrence is an ICANN Fellow and the first Nigerian to become a member of ICANN’s Nominating Committee, a team that recruits half of the ICANN Board asides other leadership roles. He has been a member of different working groups and committees that help shape the global Internet’s policy development process. Bearing his vast experience in Business and management, he selflessly represents a voice for all Businesses of African descent at global IG forums. Ajoboye MayowaMr. Ajiboye Mayowa
Mr. Ajiboye Mayowa is the Director for Research, Innovations and Development with Central Soft Support Services CS3. An IT professional and Educational Technology expert with 8 years of experience working in technology-based roles, technology education and start-up ecosystem development in Nigeria. He became a member of NiRA in 2018, he obtained his first degree in Computer Science, PGD in Education, currently on the verge of completing an MTech in Educational Technology, and in 2020, he enrolled for MSc Cybersecurity. Before joining Central Soft Support Services, Mr. Ajiboye Mayowa has worked with several organizations in technical and managerial capacity including TechX Innovation Hub as the hub manager, where he coordinated all the activities of the hub during which he supervised the deployment of network facility and also deploying an academy for the organization. He also had a stint with UNITeS Cisco Networking Academy where he served as a technical trainer for learners who enrolled for IT Essentials. Mr. Ajiboye is a tech evangelist where he advocates for the awareness and adoption of technology among young people to bridge the gap technology has created among the youths in Nigeria, this he carried out on the platform of Young Innovators of Nigeria, a registered non-governmental organization in 2014 where he is a pioneer member and rose to the position of the president, a position he currently occupied. During these periods, he successfully organized capacity training, mentorship sessions, ICT Ecosystem entrepreneurship development program for over 1000 youths across the country, where some of our start-ups have enjoyed the various types of sponsorship by the National Information Technology Agency (NITDA). Notably among them are the yearly sponsorship to GITEX in Dubai. He is among the team of Young Innovators of Nigeria that carried out a research titled “Skill gap analysis for youth employment in Nigeria” the report which has brought about the identification of IT skills required at the workplace needed by the stakeholders in the IT industry. In 2020 during the heat of Covid-19, he specifically recommended our best start-up (Secure Agric) which hailed from Gombe State to the Executive Governor of the state to be sponsored to attend the Golf Information Technology Exhibitions GITEX. His love for technology education spur him to co-author a chapter in a book published during the heat of Covid-19 by Novel Education Research Group titled “Novel Practices in Education” where he specifically wrote on the “Role of Cloud-Based Technology in Teaching and Learning”. He is an active member of the following professional associations in Nigeria; Nigeria Internet Registration Association NiRA, Nigeria Computer Society NCS, Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria CPN, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria TRCN and Novel Educational Research Group among others and has contributed significantly to the development of these associations. He currently serves as a member of the committee for National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) e-Nigeria Annual International Conference, Nigeria Computer Society–Isa Ali Pantami Committee for the youths on the digital economy. Mr. Mayowa recently co-founds CBTng.COM, an AI platform that provides tests, examination and aptitude tests for academic institutions, corporate organizations and recruiting agencies. The start-up was among the winners of the United Nations World Creativity and Innovation Challenge Day organised by NITDA Centre for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence on the 21st April 2021 in Abuja.

Engr. Mr. Destiny Amana
Mr. Destiny Amana is the Managing Director & CEO of Icecool Contracts Limited, an ICT firm registered in 2003 with the mission to increasing the digital footprint of Nigeria one business at a time. The business became a Pioneer Registrar with NIRA and has exclusively for the past 3 years been the undisputed Best Registrar in the Gold Category. Destiny is also the current President of the Nigeria Internet Group which was founded in 1995, as a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization, promoting the Internet in Nigeria. To achieve its mandate, the Group engages in a number of activities which include; policy advocacy, awareness creation and education. Awareness creation and education tasks of the Group are carried out through conferences, seminars, exhibitions, workshops and newsletter publication while policy advocacy is done by actively engaging the Government during and after policy formulation processes. Mr. Destiny Amana is a graduate of Imperial College London where he studied Engineering and then decided to diversify into Computer Science at the University of Bath at Masters Level. Since then Destiny has taken numerous programing courses in ASP.Net, DNS Management and IT Support before starting his own business. Destiny has been a member of NIRA since 2007 and has served on various committees to date. Mr. Destiny has many hobbies which include photography, music, travelling, dancing and socializing. He has been a professional D.J. for the last 20 years and is happily married with 4 Children.
