NiRA Concludes Q2 Registrar Accreditation Training for 2025

The Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA) has successfully concluded its Q2 2025 Registrar Accreditation Training, a comprehensive session aimed at equipping prospective and existing registrars with the essential knowledge and technical grounding to operate effectively within the .ng domain ecosystem.

As part of NiRA’s continuous commitment to improving the .ng namespace, the training forms a core component of its Registrar Accreditation Process, ensuring that all accredited registrars possess the technical, operational, and policy knowledge needed to uphold the integrity and reliability of Nigeria’s country code Top-Level Domain (ccTLD). The training holds every quarter and is for prospective registrars and also open to existing accredited registrars that might require training for team members.

Accredited registrars play a critical role in the .ng domain ecosystem. They serve as the bridge between the registry and the end-users—facilitating domain name registrations, offering support to registrants, and ensuring the .ng namespace is accessible, functional, and secure. Their competence directly impacts the growth, trust, and adoption of the .ng domain across Nigeria and beyond.
