ICANN61 Kicks Off in San Juan, Puerto Rico!

The ICANN61 Community Forum is ongoing in San Juan, Puerto Rico with about 2,000 participants from 150 countries taking part in over 300 sessions. The Public Meeting will end on the 15th March 2018.

ICANN meetings are an important part of how the Internet global community interacts, give diverse group of stakeholders a chance to meet face-to-face and develop policy and advice in a more personal, collaborative environment. They’re also a great opportunity to learn about the wider community and see what fellow stakeholders are working hard on.

Hosting ICANN61 in Puerto Rico six months after Hurricane Maria is a testament to the commitment to the development of the Internet community.

ICANN 61 meeting has proven to be another week of intense discussion, important work, and productive sessions.

NIRA is represent at ICANN61, following up with global trends in the Domain Name industry and contributing in the ongoing discussions.
