On Wednesday, 16th of May 2018, NIRA through its Special Purpose Vehicle, the NIRA Academy, organized its .ng Resellers Entrepreneurship Programme (REP) at NIRA Office Complex, 8 Funsho Williams Avenue, Surulere Lagos. The Resellers Programme aimed at developing and training entrepreneurs & aspiring entrepreneurs about the Domain Name Industry. The training also provided an insight into the vast opportunities that exist within the Domain Name Industry. Participants were encouraged to network with professionals within the Domain Name Industry as we had representatives from three NiRA Accredited Registrars at the event.
Mrs. Edith Udeagu, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) encouraged participants to actively participate in the training; highlighting that NiRA creates opportunities for people to become entrepreneurs and employers of labor.
The three NIRA Accredited Registrars (Whogohost Limited, Upperlink Limited and Q-Server Limited) made presentations in relation to Domain name registration and Hosting services. The Registrars presented their Reseller packages to the participants.
At the end of the workshop, a certificate of attendance was presented to each participant while .ng souvenirs were given to the four most active participants in the class.
