Medallion wins 2018 Interconnectivity Company award

Medallion Communications Limited has won another Interconnect Company of the year award at the Ghana Information And Telecom Awards, organized by InstinctWave in Accra, Ghana.

Last year, Medallion Communications Limited also won the Interconnect Service Provider Of The Year at the prestigious Nigeria Tech Innovation & Telecom Awards (NTITA) in Lagos. The event was also powered by Instinct Wave and supported by the Association of Telecoms Companies of Nigeria (ATCON).

Reacting to the award, Engr. Ikechuchwu Nnamani, CEO, Medallion communications, said that the award would encourage Medallion to strengthen its efforts as a company and as an organization that believes that everyone must be connected. The company plans on maintaining its clear leadership position in the telecom industry and raise the bar of their service delivery. Engr. Nnamani stated clearly that the award would also spur his organisation to redefine interconnectivity in the telecom industry.

Medallion has the largest number of connectivity in the sub-region. Its Datacenter in Lagos houses all the international submarine fiber operators in West Africa, all the Mobile Service Providers, LTE Operators, Fixed Line Operators, Metro Fiber Service Providers, Long Distance service providers, VAS Providers, ISPs, OTT Operators, and critical national infrastructure like the Nigerian Internet Exchange as well as the Nigerian Internet Registration Association (NIRA) the .ng ccTLD Registry.
