The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has launched the application round for those interested in participating in the ICANN68 Public Meeting scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 22nd June to 25th June 2020. The NextGen@ICANN program is open until 24 January 2020. Successful candidates will be announced on the ICANN website on 24 February 2020.
Prospective members of the NextGen@ICANN program must be enrolled as an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student between the ages of 18 and 30 and must exhibit interest in ICANN and the Internet ecosystem through examples of current work, activities, public dialogue through their studies, and/or research on the web. Interested applicants are evaluated based on the ICANN set criteria.
