NiRA joined the world to mark the World Safer Internet Day on Tuesday, 11 February 2020 at the University of Lagos, Akoka Rd, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria.
The event was put together by the Centre for Cyber Awareness and Development (CECAD) and the Nigeria Internet Group (NIG). The Safer Internet Day event had in attendance, students from Princeton College, members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) as well as the notable speakers. NiRA Executive Secretary, Mrs. Edith Udeagu was also at the event to present a goodwill message from Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA).
