NiRA is pleased to host two major annual events and this time, we are doing so back-to-back. The excitement at the Secretariat is palpable.
The Annual General Meeting moved online in 2020 in line with COVID-19 restrictions and held online in 2021. Attendance did not wane through the two years, and 2021 AGM coincided with an election year for the Association. It is a pleasure to be able to host a hybrid event this year. On the 28th of April 2022, the 14th AGM of the Nigeria Internet Registration Association is scheduled to hold. It promises to be a well-attended event and we look forward to hosting in-person as well as online attendees.
The very next day on the 29th of April 2022, we will be celebrating the efforts of all the individuals and organisations who have kept faith with NiRA, promoting top-notch services on the internet. NiRA will host the .ng awards for 2022 which will be the 5th edition of the Awards. We look forward to hosting key players in the Domain Name Industry (DNI), NiRA stakeholders, Award Nominees, Members, and other guests at this memorable event. Due to the existing COVID-19 restrictions, the event will be low-key, and attendance will be strictly by invitation.
